The Charleston Sea Gulls of the South Atlantic League ended the 1911 season with a record of 41 wins and 84 lossesAugusta (42-50) forfeited franchise July 26, but the league operated the club as S.A.L. Orphans. When storms destroyed the Charleston ball park, both clubs disbanded August 30.

Edward Rinsick, Kohly Miller, Eddie Sabrie, James Durham and Charlie Luskey served as manager.
