The Cedar Rapids Kernels of the Midwest League ended the 2007 season with a record of 78 wins and 61 losses, finishing third in the league's West Division.

The Kernels led the league with just 521 runs allowed. Cedar Rapids scored 611 runs. Matthew Sweeney paced the squad with 18 home runs Mark Trumbo drove in 76 runs. Wilberto Ortiz topped hitters with significant playing time with a .277 average. David Herndon paced the squad with 13 wins, while Sean O'Sullivan registered a 2.22 earned run average, best among qualifying pitchers.
