The Charlotte Knights of the International League ended the 1999 season with a record of 82 wins and 62 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Knights plated 836 runs and surrendered 763 runs. Luis Raven walloped 33 home runs for Charlotte, while Mario Valdez and Chad Mottola swatted 15 or more as well. Luis Raven drove in 125 runs. Chad Mottola led all regular batters by connecting at a .321 clip. Mike Heathcott topped the squad with 10 wins, and Carlos Castillo registered a 5.16 earned run average, tops among qualifying pitchers.
