The Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern League ended the 2004 season with a record of 87 wins and 53 losses, finishing first in the league's East Division.

Jesse Gutierrez powered the squad with 17 home runs and accounted for 82 RBI, while leading hitters with significant playing time with a .292 average.
