The Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League ended the 2001 season with a record of 49 wins and 77 losses, finishing third in the league's South Division.

The Riversharks scored 585 runs and yielded 696 runs. Guillermo Garcia paced Camden with 17 home runs, and Dwight Maness walloped 15 or more, too. Guillermo Garcia accounted for 68 RBI. Brad Strauss led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .314 clip. Ryan Schurman topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 3.43 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.
