The Denver Bears of the American Association ended the 1960 season with a record of 88 wins and 66 losses, finishing first in the AA.

The Bears topped the league with 903 runs, fueled by 162 home runs. Denver surrendered 783 runs, most in the circuit. Bobo Osborne walloped 34 home runs for the squad, while George Alusik, Steve Boros and Jimmie McDaniel each swatted 15 or more also. Steve Boros and Bobo Osborne each recorded 119 runs batted in. Bobo Osborne led all regular hitters with a .342 average. Ed Donnelly paced the team with 17 wins, and Al Pehanick recorded a 3.38 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
