The Bears plated 668 runs and surrendered 684 runs, most in the league. Jeff Burroughs and Gene Martin paced Denver with 17 home runs apiece., and Dick Billings walloped 15 or more, too. Jeff Burroughs accounted for 71 RBI. Joe Patterson led all regular batters with a .306 average. Cisco Carlos topped the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 3.4 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
