The Commodores plated 537 runs and allowed 501 runs. Goldie Francis paced Decatur with 17 home runs Bruce Hix and Frank Ferro each accounted for 60 RBI. Frank Ferro led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .294 clip. Néstor Chávez topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.15 earned run average, leading qualifying pitchers.
