The Rangers scored 551 runs and yielded 746 runs. Jim Hughes led Dallas with 19 home runs, while Ken Harrelson and Rick Joseph walloped 15 or more as well. Rick Joseph drove in 59 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .278. Aurelio Monteagudo paced the squad with 10 wins, and Lew Krausse recorded a 3.94 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
