The Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League ended the 2004 season with a record of 26 wins and 50 losses, finishing fourth in the league's West Division.

The Emeralds scored 354 runs, worst in the league, and yielded 456 runs, most in the circuit. Colt Morton led Eugene with 17 home runs, and Lach Dale walloped 15 or more as well. Lach Dale recorded 49 runs batted in. Sean Kazmar paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .252, while Alfredo Fernandez earned a 5.64 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.

Steve Delabar, Brandon Kintzler, Sean Kazmar, José Lobatón, Colt Morton, Mike Ekstrom and Matt Bush were all players from the 2004 Eugene Emeralds who played in the Majors during their careers.
