The Greenville Bombers of the South Atlantic League ended the 2005 season with a record of 72 wins and 66 losses, finishing fifth in the league's South Division.

The Bombers scored 720 runs and gave up 639 runs. Andrew Pinckney led Greenville with 21 home runs and accounted for 98 RBI. John Otness paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .331 clip. Gary Galvez topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 3.35 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
