The Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League ended the 2010 season with a record of 90 wins and 49 losses, finishing first in the league's Eastern Division.

The Loons led the league with just 531 runs allowed. Great Lakes scored 705 runs. Blake Smith paced the team with 19 home runs, while Angelo Songco, Brian Cavazos-Galvez and Jerry Sands each walloped 15 or more, too. Brian Cavazos-Galvez drove in 77 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .318 clip. Allen Webster paced the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.88 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Blake Smith, Josh Wall, Rafael Ynoa, Matt Magill, Steve Ames, Rubby De La Rosa, Jerry Sands, Allen Webster and Nick Buss were all players from the 2010 Great Lakes Loons who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
