The Gary SouthShore RailCats of the Northern League ended the 2007 season with a record of 58 wins and 38 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The SouthShore RailCats topped the league with just 413 runs allowed. Gary scored 464 runs, worst in the league,. José Yépez drove in 56 runs. Dave Detienne led hitters with significant playing time by hitting .286. Willie Glen and Josh Habel paced the squad with 12 wins each, while Josh Habel recorded a 2.96 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
