The Harlingen Capitols of the Rio Grande Valley League ended the 1950 season with a record of 86 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the RGVL.

The Capitols plated 1128 runs and yielded 956 runs. Jesse McClain crushed 53 homers for Harlingen, while Theodore Squillante, Sam Harshaney and Don Petschow each walloped 15 or more, too. Jesse McClain drove in 173 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .356 clip.
