The High Desert Mavericks of the California League ended the 1993 season with a record of 85 wins and 52 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Mavericks plated 939 runs, tops in the circuit. High Desert gave up 769 runs. John Toale paced the team with 28 home runs, while Bryn Kosco and Tim Clark walloped 15 or more also. Tim Clark recorded 126 runs batted in and topped all regular batters with a .363 average. Robert Person led the squad with 12 wins, and Barry Parisotto registered a 4.04 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.
