The Kinston Indians of the Carolina League ended the 1995 season with a record of 81 wins and 56 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Indians scored 605 runs and allowed 500 runs. Jim Betzsold paced Kinston with 25 home runs, while Bruce Aven and Richie Sexson walloped 15 or more as well. Richie Sexson drove in 85 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .306. Bartolo Colón led the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 1.97 earned run average, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
