The Lakewood BlueClaws of the South Atlantic League ended the 2003 season with a record of 57 wins and 81 losses, finishing seventh in the league's Northern Division.

The BlueClaws scored 464 runs, worst in the league, and gave up 599 runs. Mark McRoberts led Lakewood with 17 home runs Terry Jones drove in 66 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .240 clip. Francisco Butto paced the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 3.04 earned run average, tops among regular hurlers.
