The Colonels plated 666 runs, worst in the league, and gave up 869 runs. Jerry Witte paced Louisville with 29 home runs and drove in 98 runs. Tom Wright led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .307 clip. Jack Griffore topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 3.84 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.
