The Colonels plated 717 runs and gave up 649 runs. George Wilson paced Louisville with 17 home runs, while Taffy Wright and Tommy O'Brien walloped 15 or more, too. Taffy Wright drove in 92 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .318 clip. Bob Alexander led the squad with 12 wins, and Jim McDonald recorded a 3.35 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
