The Lynchburg Hillcats of the Carolina League ended the 2017 season with a record of 87 wins and 52 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Hillcats topped the circuit with just 509 runs allowed. Lynchburg scored 645 runs. Sicnarf Loopstok paced the squad with 17 home runs Ka'ai Tom and Sicnarf Loopstok each drove in 65 runs. Willi Castro led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .290 clip. Triston McKenzie paced the squad with 12 wins, while Brock Hartson recorded a 3.07 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.
