The Lexington Legends of the South Atlantic League ended the 2003 season with a record of 75 wins and 63 losses, finishing second in the league's Northern Division.

The Legends plated 587 runs and yielded 555 runs. John Fagan paced Lexington with 18 home runs T. J. Soto drove in 62 runs. Ryan Kochen led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .248 clip. Fernando Nieve topped the team with 14 wins, while Jailen Peguero registered a 3.64 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.

Jesse Carlson, Brooks Conrad, Cory Doyne, Devern Hansack, Mark McLemore, Fernando Nieve, Jailen Peguero and Chris Sampson were all players from the 2003 Lexington Legends who played in the Majors during their careers.
