The Mesa Miners of the Golden Baseball League ended the 2005 season with a record of 53 wins and 40 losses, finishing first in the league's Arizona Division.

The Miners plated 478 runs and allowed 450 runs. Caleb Maher paced Mesa with 11 home runs and drove in 64 runs. Paul Powell led all regular batters with a .322 average. Manny Ayala topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 3.05 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Players from the 2005 Mesa Miners who spent time in Major League Baseball during their careers included Cleatus Davidson, Mike Hartley, Marcus Jensen and Tony Saunders.
