The Modesto Nuts of the California League ended the 2013 season with a record of 75 wins and 65 losses, finishing third in the league's North Division.

The Nuts scored 695 runs and surrendered 633 runs. Ryan Casteel and Harold Riggins paced Modesto with 22 home runs apiece. Taylor Featherston recorded 81 runs batted in. Brian Humphries topped hitters with significant playing time with a .300 average. Ben Alsup led the squad with 13 wins, while Dan Winkler recorded a 2.97 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
