The Mexico City Diablos Rojos of the Mexican League ended the 2002 season with a record of 74 wins and 36 losses, finishing first in the league's Northern Division.

The Diablos Rojos plated 738 runs, tops in the circuit. Mexico City conceded 537 runs. Félix José paced the squad with 27 home runs, while Ray Martinez, Roberto Kelly and Miguel Ojeda each walloped 15 or more also. Félix José drove in 102 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by hitting .383.
