The Northwest Arkansas Naturals of the Texas League ended the 2009 season with a record of 73 wins and 67 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Naturals scored 703 runs and surrendered 704 runs. Corey Smith led Northwest Arkansas with 21 home runs and drove in 90 runs. Kurt Mertins paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .275 clip. Anthony Lerew topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 4.09 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
