The Zephyrs scored 703 runs and allowed 671 runs. Andy Tracy led New Orleans with 23 home runs, while Chip Ambres and Fernando Tatís walloped 15 or more, too. Andy Tracy drove in 87 runs. Anderson Hernández topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .301 clip. Philip Humber paced the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 4.27 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
