The Beavers plated 786 runs and surrendered 764 runs. Jerry Keller paced Portland with 28 home runs, while Juan Samuel, Len Matuszek, John Russell and Alejandro Sánchez each walloped 15 or more, too. Tim Corcoran drove in 93 runs. Len Matuszek led batters with significant playing time by hitting .330. Kelly Downs topped the team with 9 wins and a team-best 4.47 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.
