The Prince William Cannons of the Carolina League ended the 1991 season with a record of 71 wins and 68 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Cannons plated 556 runs and surrendered 514 runs. Andy Fox paced Prince William with 10 home runs Paul Oster drove in 62 runs. Jason Robertson topped all regular batters with a .264 average. Jeff Hoffman and Sam Militello led the squad with 12 wins each, while Kirt Ojala recorded a 2.54 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Bubba Carpenter, Sterling Hitchcock, Mike Figga, Kirt Ojala, Brad Ausmus, Andy Fox, Sam Militello, Sherman Obando and Robert Eenhoorn were all players from the 1991 Prince William Cannons who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
