The Swing of the Quad Cities of the Midwest League ended the 2004 season with a record of 68 wins and 68 losses, finishing sixth in the league's West Division.

The Swing scored 564 runs and surrendered 554 runs. Scott Whitrock led Quad Cities with 13 home runs Brock Peterson accounted for 65 RBI. J. R. Taylor paced hitters with significant playing time by hitting .266. Julio De Paula topped the squad with 12 wins, while Errol Simonitsch registered a 2.56 earned run average, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Nick Blackburn, Julio De Paula, Evan Meek, Glen Perkins, Brock Peterson, Kyle Phillips, Nick Punto, Denard Span and Levale Speigner were all players from the 2004 Swing of the Quad Cities who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
