The Reading Indians of the Eastern League ended the 1960 season with a record of 69 wins and 71 losses, finishing fourth in the EL.

The Indians scored 682 runs and yielded 655 runs. Hal Jones walloped 34 home runs for Reading, while Larry Brown and Billy Williams swatted 15 or more, too. Hal Jones recorded 104 runs batted in.
