The Salem Avalanche of the Carolina League ended the 1995 season with a record of 68 wins and 72 losses, finishing third in the league's South Division.

The Avalanche tallied 619 runs and conceded 667 runs, most in the league. Forry Wells paced Salem with 18 home runs, and Nate Holdren walloped 15 or more, too. Edgard Clemente and Nate Holdren each drove in 69 runs. Edgard Clemente topped hitters with significant playing time by hitting .300. Jamey Wright led the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 2.47 ERA, leading regular hurlers.
