The Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League ended the 2008 season with a record of 83 wins and 60 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division of the Pacific Conference.

The Bees plated 808 runs and allowed 750 runs. Brandon Wood walloped 31 home runs for Salt Lake, while Matthew Brown, Kendrys Morales, Sean Rodríguez, Adam Pavkovich and Freddy Sandoval each swatted 15 or more, too. Freddy Sandoval accounted for 88 RBI and topped batters with significant playing time by hitting .335. Shane Loux led the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 3.98 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
