The Captains scored 591 runs and conceded 638 runs. Rob Deer led Shreveport with 27 home runs, and Kelvin Torve walloped 15 or more, too. Kelvin Torve drove in 84 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .305 clip. Frank Williams paced the squad with 11 wins, while Mike Brecht recorded a 3.5 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
