The Captains scored 692 runs and yielded 635 runs. Benji Simonton led Shreveport with 23 home runs, while Doug Mirabelli and Dante Powell walloped 15 or more, too. Dante Powell drove in 78 runs. Chris Singleton paced all regular batters by connecting at a .298 clip. Keith Foulke topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.77 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
