The Captains paced the league with just 585 runs allowed. Shreveport scored 613 runs. Damon Minor led the team with 20 home runs, while Giuseppe Chiaramonte walloped 15 or more, too. Damon Minor drove in 82 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .273 clip. Andy Heckman paced the squad with 10 wins, and Brian Knoll recorded a 3.51 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
