The Sonoma County Crushers of the Western League ended the 1997 season with a record of 56 wins and 34 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.
The Crushers plated 587 runs and surrendered 494 runs. David Mowry paced Sonoma County with 23 home runs, while Todd Pridy, Carter Masterson and Kyle Washington each walloped 15 or more as well. David Mowry drove in 82 runs. Todd Pridy led all regular hitters with a .342 average. Todd Genke topped the squad with 12 wins, and Kris Frank recorded a 2.49 ERA, leading regular hurlers.
Chad Zerbe played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Sonoma County Crushers to do so.
