The Sand Gnats tallied 579 runs, worst in the circuit, and allowed 672 runs. Kory Casto and Josh Whitesell paced Savannah with 16 home runs apiece. Kory Casto drove in 88 runs. Jerry Owens led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .292 clip. Jeremy Plexico topped the team with 8 wins, while Devin Perrin recorded a 4.5 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Roger Bernadina, Josh Whitesell, Jerry Owens, Armando Galarraga, Kory Casto, Jason Bergmann and Daryl Thompson were all players from the 2004 Savannah Sand Gnats who played in the Majors during their careers.
