The Missions scored 754 runs and conceded 798 runs. Frank Kellert walloped 41 home runs for San Antonio, while Jim Pisoni, Jerry Jacobs and Witty Quintana each swatted 15 or more, too. Frank Kellert drove in 146 runs. Joe Durham led hitters with significant playing time with a .318 average. Ryne Duren topped the team with 14 wins and a team-best 3.44 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
