The Stockton Ports of the California League ended the 1958 season with a record of 70 wins and 68 losses, finishing third in the CL.
The Ports allowed 652 runs, least in the league. Stockton plated 716 runs. Jack Damaska paced the team with 20 home runs, while Ed Zander walloped 15 or more as well. Ed Zander recorded 95 runs batted in. Carlos Dore led all regular hitters by hitting .315. Alvin Spearman topped the squad with 20 wins and a team-best 2.6 earned run average, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
Chris Krug and Jack Damaska both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
