The Stockton Ports of the California League ended the 2006 season with a record of 69 wins and 71 losses, finishing fourth in the league's North Division.

The Ports tallied 779 runs and surrendered 754 runs. Tommy Everidge paced Stockton with 20 home runs, while Landon Powell and Myron Leslie walloped 15 or more, too. Myron Leslie drove in 100 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .273. Michael Rogers led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 4.69 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.

Danny Putnam, Milton Bradley, Jay Witasick, Landon Powell, Dallas Braden, Tommy Everidge, Hiram Bocachica, Adam Johnson, Ryan Webb, Marcus McBeth, Travis Buck, Kazuhito Tadano, Scott Sauerbeck, Gregorio Petit, Cliff Pennington, Raúl Casanova and Jeff Gray were all players from the 2006 Stockton Ports who played in the Majors during their careers.
