The Solons topped the league with 773 runs, ignited by 194 home runs. Sacramento allowed 880 runs, most in the circuit. Bob Hansen led the team with 29 home runs, while Steve Bowling, Tommy Bianco, Dave Lindsey, Art Kusnyer and Tommie Reynolds each walloped 15 or more also. Bob Hansen drove in 102 runs. Tommie Reynolds paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .304 clip. Carlos Velazquez paced the squad with 9 wins, and Roger Miller recorded a 6.16 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
