The Saltillo Saraperos of the Mexican League ended the 2009 season with a record of 59 wins and 48 losses, finishing fourth in the league's North Division.

The Saraperos scored 685 runs and allowed 600 runs. Refugio Cervantes paced Saltillo with 20 home runs, while Jesus Cota, Jose Rodriguez, Nelson Teilon and Cristhian Presichi each walloped 15 or more also. Refugio Cervantes and Jesus Cota each drove in 79 runs. Nelson Teilon led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .363 clip. Mario Mendoza topped the team with 9 wins, and Rafael Diaz recorded a 4.49 ERA, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Rafael Martín, Noe Muñoz, Kit Pellow, José Mercedes, Jorge De Paula, Ricardo Rodríguez and José Ortiz were all players from the 2009 Saltillo Saraperos who played in the Majors during their careers.
