The San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1954 season with a record of 84 wins and 84 losses, finishing fourth in the PCL.

The Seals plated 688 runs and conceded 637 runs. Ted Beard paced San Francisco with 11 home runs Jim Westlake drove in 70 runs. Ted Beard topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .301 clip. Tony Ponce led the team with 14 wins, while Frank Hiller recorded a 2.93 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.

Ed Chandler, Chuck Stevens, Bob Muncrief, Adrián Zabala, Al Lyons, Ted Beard, Mike McCormick, Neill Sheridan, Sam Vico, Jim Westlake, Frank Hiller, Bob DiPietro, Bill Bradford, Ken Holcombe, Mike Baxes, Frank Kalin, Dave Melton, Elmer Singleton and Al Grunwald were all players from the 1954 San Francisco Seals who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
