The Saints plated 748 runs and surrendered 693 runs. Jim Baxes paced St. Paul with 22 home runs, while Eddie Moore, Charlie Neal, Bud Hutson, Walt Moryn and Don Zimmer each walloped 15 or more also. Bud Hutson drove in 81 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .300. Ron Negray led the team with 17 wins, and Wade Browning recorded a 3.67 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.

Ray Moore, Jim Baxes, Bill Antonello, Ernie Nevel, Charlie Neal, Dick Williams, Bob Darnell, Gino Cimoli, Ron Negray, Bert Hamric, Don Bessent, Bob Milliken, Rudy Rufer, Johnny Rutherford, Don Zimmer, Johnny Bucha, Earl Mossor, Walt Moryn and Stan Rojek were all players from the 1954 St. Paul Saints who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
