The Cubs led the league with just 531 runs allowed. Tacoma scored 602 runs. Roe Skidmore paced the team with 16 home runs and drove in 84 runs. Rick Bladt topped all regular batters with a .312 average. Joe Decker, Archie Reynolds and Dick LeMay paced the squad with 10 wins each, while Jim Colborn recorded a 2.28 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
