The Oilers scored 743 runs and surrendered 714 runs. George Kernek, John Kindl, Ted Savage and Ed Spiezio led Tulsa with 18 home runs apiece., and Coco Laboy walloped 15 or more, too. George Kernek drove in 84 runs. Walt Williams paced all regular batters with a .330 average. Dick LeMay topped the team with 14 wins, while Steve Carlton recorded a 3.59 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
