The Smokies scored 640 runs and allowed 651 runs, most in the circuit. Jay Gibbons and Robert Pérez led Tennessee with 19 home runs apiece., and Mike Peeples walloped 15 or more, too. Robert Pérez drove in 92 runs. Jay Gibbons paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .321 clip. Pasqual Coco topped the squad with 12 wins, while Mike Kusiewicz registered a 3.63 earned run average, best among regular hurlers.
