The Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League ended the 2023 season with a record of 75 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Smokies scored 740 runs and conceded 677 runs. Owen Caissie led Tennessee with 22 home runs, while Haydn McGeary, Pablo Aliendo, Jordan Nwogu and B. J. Murray each walloped 15 or more as well. Owen Caissie drove in 84 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .289 clip. Walker Powell paced the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.68 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

Ben Brown, Miguel Amaya, Brailyn Márquez, Jordan Wicks, Daniel Palencia, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Luke Little were all players from the 2023 Tennessee Smokies who played in the Majors during their careers.
