The Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League ended the 2023 season with a record of 75 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Smokies scored 740 runs and conceded 677 runs. Owen Caissie led Tennessee with 22 home runs, while Pablo Aliendo, Haydn McGeary, B. J. Murray and Jordan Nwogu each walloped 15 or more as well. Owen Caissie drove in 84 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .289 clip. Walker Powell paced the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.68 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

Kevin Alcántara, Miguel Amaya, Moisés Ballesteros, Hunter Bigge, Ben Brown, Pete Crow-Armstrong, DJ Herz, Porter Hodge, Bailey Horn, Cade Horton, Levi Jordan, Luke Little, Brailyn Márquez, Daniel Palencia, Matt Shaw, Luis Vázquez and Jordan Wicks were all players from the 2023 Tennessee Smokies who played in the Majors during their careers.
