The West Virginia Power of the South Atlantic League ended the 2012 season with a record of 61 wins and 79 losses, finishing sixth in the league's Northern Division.

The Power scored 672 runs and conceded 738 runs, most in the circuit. Willy García led West Virginia with 18 home runs, while Alen Hanson, Gregory Polanco and José Osuna each walloped 15 or more also. Gregory Polanco accounted for 85 RBI and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .325 clip. Robby Rowland paced the team with 9 wins, and Zac Fuesser recorded a 4.09 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

Josh Bell, Elías Díaz, Willy García, Alen Hanson, Nick Kingham, José Osuna and Gregory Polanco were all players from the 2012 West Virginia Power who played in the Majors during their careers.
