The West Virginia Power of the South Atlantic League ended the 2017 season with a record of 69 wins and 67 losses, finishing fourth in the league's North Division.

The Power scored 592 runs and surrendered 554 runs. Hunter Owen and Adrian Valerio led West Virginia with 11 home runs apiece. Albert Baur drove in 65 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .298 clip. Luis Escobar paced the squad with 10 wins, while Eduardo Vera recorded a 3.34 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

Geoff Hartlieb, Hunter Owen, James Marvel, Cam Vieaux, Oneil Cruz, Luis Escobar and Blake Cederlind were all players from the 2017 West Virginia Power who played in the Majors during their careers.
